Andy Peyton


From line jobs up through the ranks to President, Andy has brought an insatiable hunger for solving complex business challenges to every role he’s served in, especially when it comes to energy. He joined Superior Plus as President in October 2016, leveraging diverse experience gained through previous positions, such as Vice President of Corporate Development at Amerigas Propane, Inc., an Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and a General Manager at Ryerson, Inc.—a leading distributor of steel and aluminum. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and earned his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.

James Devens

Vice President of Operations

Responsible for all of our retail operations, James brings over 27 years of industry experience and expertise to his role as VP of Operations. James has held executive positions within the natural gas industry, Inergy Propane and AmeriGas Propane. Prior to working in the energy sector, James served as a Captain in the US Army. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute.

Marc Schoone

Vice President of Wholesale Marketing, Supply & Transportation

Analytical, accomplished, and a true team player, Marc is in charge of both our supply and wholesale groups. But his most important role is helping assemble and oversee the teams that deliver real value to our customers every day. Marc has been a member of the Superior Plus team since 2010, leveraging his previous portfolio management experience to steadily rise through the ranks as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and our Director of Supply before taking on his current role in 2015. Marc holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Bonaventure University.

Andrew Desmann 

Vice President of FinancE

Andrew is responsible for all finance functions, including accounting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Joining us in April 2014, he brings the kind of extensive experience that can only be gained through holding a variety of financial leadership positions in commercial, international, manufacturing, and corporate settings. He plays an invaluable role in leading the teams responsible for maintaining and growing our financial strength, which translates directly to the stability and reliability we’re able to pass along to our customers. Andy holds a CPA in public accounting and earned his BS in Accounting from St. John Fisher College.

Debbie Cardon

Vice President of Human Resources

Debbie is focused on attracting and retaining the industry’s top talent, as well as ensuring every employee receives the benefits they deserve. Perhaps her most unique talent is blurring the line between HR and business operations, making the department a truly strategic element of our business. Prior to joining us in February 2014, she held numerous human resources roles within ADT Security Services and Marriott International. Debbie earned her Bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from St. Francis College.
